Santa Ana Police Facilities

While Richard Neutra designed the Santa Ana Police Facilities to have a welcoming effect, the space was closed to the public. Suggesting transparency, the façade is composed of glass and aluminum louvers, and strips of gardens are even planted outside the windows of the cells. A reception room and office spaces are located on the ground floor while offices for police personnel, locker rooms, and an auditorium are on the second floor. The building has since been demolished.
