Russell and Elizabeth Branch House

The modest scaled Branch House is a two-bedroom space made of white stucco and redwood siding. Richard Neutra made the unusual decision here to place siding above the windows, and as a result, the soffit appears to fold into the wall. This design feature connects vertical and horizontal planes, giving a three-dimensional effect.
