Riviera Methodist Church

Preliminary sketches for the Riviera Methodist Church show a departure from Neutra and Alexander’s typical approach, however the final design marks a return to convention. Originally, the firm imagined a church composed of a series of three radiating arches which had open, glassed sides and met a curved narthex, but ultimately, the finished church was composed of a set of rectilinear, boxy structures.
